    I’ve always been against the burger cake, but they do seem more appetizing in cupcake form. And while not a “proper” burger cupcake, this one finally won me over.

    I vote “cute.”

  2. Jess says:

    I vote “cute” too, not least because those bad boys would’ve taken sooo much time to make xx

    The ones in the back look a little lopsided. I’m afraid I will have to take care of those… :}

  8. Terry Toland says:

    They’re very well put together, so I definitely say cute, just like their meaty cousins, the mini-burgers.

    I’ve made cookie versions. They were a big hit at the bake fair, back when I was in high school (this was twenty years ago, so I’m not sure they still HAVE bake fairs!). It’s easy to do! You need:

    * Vanilla wafer cookies (such as Nilla)
    * Grasshopper cookies
    * Canned coconut.
    * Vanilla icing
    * Karo syrup (or other corn syrup)
    * Sesame seeds
    * Food coloring

    1) Dye the coconut green. One drop should be sufficient.
    2) Dye the icing orange.
    3) Take a Nilla wafer and put a dab of icing on the flat side of it. This is your bottom bun.
    4) Put the grasshopper cookie on the iced wafer. This is your hamburger patty.
    5) Spread icing on top of the grasshopper cookie. This time, be liberal with it; this will be your cheese for your cheeseburger.
    6) Sprinkle some coconut on top, as lettuce.
    7) Put a dab of icing on the flat side of another Nilla wafer. Press it on top of the coconut. 8) Using a toothpick, spread a bit of Karo syrup on top.
    9) Sprinkle some sesame seeds on top of the Karo syrup.

    Voila! Hamburger cookie! :D

    Very cute. I made something similar once -cupcake ‘buns’, brownie ‘patties’, icing toppings, and sugar cookie ‘fries’ to go along with them. Was a huge hit, but a LOT of work.

  20. Sooo cute!!! mouth watering… (CHOMPS) …oops
