My only complaint — and believe me, I love faux sweets probably a great deal more than the next guy (or gal, as it were) — is that almost all miniature sweets tend to be faux. Where are all of you nimble-fingered pixies hiding your 1:12 scale cookbooks and sprinkle jars? Can we please engineer a tiny treat mutiny and oust cupcakes from their throne? I know, I know, lilliputian lollipops and miniature mille-feuilles sound lackluster and meager (respectively) but think about it this way: how awesome would it feel to have thirty seven creampuffs in your mouth at the same time?

    Thirty-seven??

    (…Sorry, couldn’t resist.)

But you’ve gotten me thinking. Off the top of my head, there are some kinds of cookies I can imagine doing in a smaller, but not 1:12 size…if I could be sure they wouldn’t burn. And putting wedding-y decorations on petit-four-size cakes would be fun if I had the right tips. And ooh, mini lemon meringue!

Darn, I’m going to be thinking about this the rest of the day…

Super cute tree! I also love mini goodies. My son is on a gfcfsf diet and I’ve come up with little pies made in a mini-cupcake pan. They are tasty but not so cute. Working with gluten free dough can be a challenge! I am going to work on the cute factor. Love this site!

  7. I’m thinking let’s go for the full 40 cream puffs at the same time.
