My mom made me a cake like this for my 7th birthday. She never did anything that elaborate again, I think because she was still exhausted from this endeavor.

Awesome! This is just like my wedding cake. All serious and white on the outside, but when you cut it, it is a Funfetti party on the inside!!

I made a cake kind of like this for my older son’s 8th birthday, but it was buttercream and pokemon on the outside. ^_^
