  1. Jon says:

It’s like Wonderland meets Watership Down!!! Sigh…. If only….

  2. Jenny says:

Really sorry to be pedantic but….. those aren’t smarties! They’re super cute, though :-)

  3. Emily says:

In Canada, the USA’s Smarties are called Rockets! Our Smarties are like M&M’s or Skittles, brightly coloured. I got confused seeling the pictures, just like Jenny :P

  4. RavynG says:

sometimes in the USA the Smarties are also called Sparkles. I like to eat a pineapple one with an orange one together.

  5. epicute says:

Oh, wow! I didn’t even think about Smarties being something else abroad. Do the Canadian Smarties taste like Skittles, or just look like them?

  6. BTW says:

Those are not smarties in the UK either, our smarties are little chocolates with a sugar shell, like M&Ms. But the orange coloured smarties are usually orange flavoured.

Gosh, I forget our name for these.. refreshers? multicoloured parma violets? o:

  7. ChocolateCheesecake says:

I agree, Jon, definitely Wonderland and Watership Down, along with a twist of pastel colors.

  8. Oh my! I have much respect for those teeny icing bunnies.

(Even though at first I thought the red one on top was a whale. I think it’s time I had my eyes checked…)

  9. Jenny says:

For the record: Canadian Smarties are the same as British ones- candy-coated chocolate. Mmm!

  10. BTW says:

Emily had left me confused by saying Smarties were like Skittles, as those are filled with chewy fruity centers, not chocolate. (But Canadian Skittles have grape flavour for the purple one, not blackcurrent! D: )

Good to hear they are the same in both countries. :)

  11. Emmett says:

    yea, they’re called refreshers
