Another week, another Monday. I’ve seen lots of blogs post lists of the things they love on other days of the week (Thursday is a popular choice), but Monday seems like the day you need it most! Here are some things that are making my Monday bearable, if not almost-sort-of-not-quite awesome.
- Peppermint mochas! And (shhh!), I have to admit I’m actually quite fond of A Certain Coffeeshop’s holiday cups.
- Super bright interior decoration
- Dancing in the elevator — great way to compose yourself before fully facing the workday
- Thanksgiving! Three days! Mashed potatoes! Stuffing!
- Crazy Bjork music videos

I’m not a Bjork fan per se but her videos are a kick (”It’s Oh So Quiet” is my favorite).
I enjoy Gingerbread Lattes. <3 I like their holiday cups too!

here’s what got me through my [retail] monday this week:
*Coke and Asprin for the migraine from Sunday’s negativity
*a pretzel from PretzelTime
*trying on new shoes in the stockroom
*ogling the Godiva display
*hot rice pudding, minus the rasins
*watching Up with my fiance
if only that could have gotten me through today…
And now I want a peppermint mocha. Darn it! Why doesn’t the red cup crack house deliver? Don’t they know that there are moms sitting home gagging for lattes who can’t just up and nip to the store when they have a little guy asleep upstairs?
“Red cup crack house” is so perfect. I don’t need delivery, though. I need one of those sushi-style conveyor belts that brings me little mocha/latte sample cups every 15 minutes.
