I’m off on a little Bon-bon Voyage for the weekend: to Olympia via Hello, Cupcake – helloooooo cupcake indeed! Can’t wait to try the mocha, coconut, and maybe the red velvet. Um, ok. I’ll probably eat three of everything. Whatevs.

1. Check out this glorious handmade apple cozy by earlygirl, who is not only a warrior against boring food storage but a cupcake genius as well. Get one for your apple at her etsy shop!
2. I have a love/hate relationship with bento boxes. I love bento boxes, and I hate buying things online. Unfortch, boxes adorned with Shinzi Katoh’s illustrations tend to not make it to Seattle without me sitting in front of my laptop and refreshing an eBay auction every 5 seconds. This cute box, complete with a strangely threatening little wolf, might finally sway me. Or slay me. Whatevs.

After reading this post mentioning a gentleman who counted all the tacos he ate for a year, I decided to do a similar tally, but with cupcakes.

So far I’m at a noble 2, both from Trophy Cupcakes in Seattle.
